Olio Verde was the first Sicilian olive oil made with 100-percent Nocellara del Belice olives and it continues to be a product of impressive complexity. The 2020 harvest has the aroma of tomatoes. It is very well-balanced, with medium fruitiness and spiciness in total harmony. It has a mild, soft nuttiness, and a hint of peppery greens that amuse the palate. The mouthfeel is unctuous and velvety, typical of Sicilian oils of the New Generation, which Olio Verde helped foster.
